A Grand Time At Amsterdam Swissotel

The Colony Capital group manages two popular hotel chains. These are the Raffles Hotel chain and the Swissotel chain, which includes the Amsterdam Swissotel. Hotels using both brands are scattered all over Asia Pacific, the Americas including North America, South America and Carribean, and in Europe. Currently, the Raffles International Hotels and Resorts chain have forty one establishments in thirty five different locations.
The Amsterdam Swissotel is situated right at the center of the old Amsterdam city. It is twenty minutes away from the Amsterdam Schipol Airport. Amsterdam Swissotel has 109 guest rooms, among which are 13 very luxurious suites. Among the complimentary services offered by the hotel is free use of the Amrita Fitness. Guests can also use its business center which is equipped with an Internet. All of the hotel rooms have amenities like a telephone with voicemail, safe, cable television, minibar, desk, coffee and tea set, bathrobe, hairdryer and Internet connection as well. Meals are also served in their in-house restaurant, Dam Plaza.
The restaurant opens until midnight and offers a wide range of sandwiches, soups,salads, fish and meat dishes and pasta. Guests can also relax here while drinking a cup of coffee or a shot of wine. For the safety of all its guests, Amsterdam Swissotel does not allow drugs in its premises including those that are considered legal drugs in Netherlands. Other services offered by the hotel are massage services, foreign language speaking staff, babysitter, room service, dry cleaning and complimentary newspapers. The hotel also has facilities that may be used for business purposes. It has four conference suites that can accommodate up to eight delegates. In addition, Amsterdam Swissotel offers special packages to its clientèle. The hotel offers the I Amsterdam card as part of their summer package. This card allows its holder free entry to some of the prestigious museums in Amsterdam, a canal boat tour that is free of charge and free use of public transport. The card holder is also eligible to avail of a twenty five percent discount in some tourist attractions and restaurants. Included in this summer package is accommodation in its Swiss Superior room for two nights, breakfast in the room, and complimentary wines and chocolates. This package is available from June until the end of August 2007. Amsterdam Swissotel likewise, offers the Kids room special. This extra service is targeted to their clients who are traveling with their children. Toys, games and kiddie toiletries are placed in the the room along with kiddie beds.
